　この曲は、1972年に発売され、小柳ルミ子さんのとても魅力的な歌唱力で今日まで歌われてきました。瀬戸内海の島から島へとお嫁に行く、若い女性の心情を歌った曲です。💗


　今では、この曲は、瀬戸内海のご当地ソングにもなっており、作詞をされた山上路夫氏は、仕事で瀬戸内海を訪れた時に、景色と夕日の素晴らしさに感動し、この曲を思いつかれたようです。

　歌詞から分かるように、昔は、交通手段は、船しかなかったようです。
