Whilst I didn't set out to write something purely John Carpenter-esque for Halloween, that's exactly what this became. A fusion of some of his stylings with one of my tracks. I fell in love with John's work from early age being inspired not only visually on the likes of Escape from New York, The Fog and Halloween, but musically too. He manages to create these perfect themes for his onscreen vision and it was really from this that Escape from Haddonfield and this song A Haunted House came about. The fact that we are about to see a new instalment of the Myers story imminently is an exciting prospect, especially given that the reviews seem overwhelmingly good. Special thanks to those who took the time to vote for me to release this track.
