"Aloha Punaluʻu" captures the essence of Punaluʻu, the famous black sand beach on Hawaiʻi Island. Performed here by Heuaʻolu Sai-Dudoit, a 12th grade haumana of Ke Kula ʻo Nāwahīokalaniʻōpuʻu, this song was made popular by the legendary Hawaiian band, Hui ʻOhana.

Heuaʻolu was our Grand Prize winner in the Mana Mele - Mele Hawaiʻi category of our 2021 Mele & Moʻolelo Contest.
