Alvin says... it was my ambition for years to play with Scotty Moore and D.J.Fontana and this comes from the album we did together called ‘Alvin Lee In Tennessee’. This was completely ‘live’ from the session and we just put it down in the studio with no overdubs. It was rockin’ so good I just kept the solo going and the guys weren’t used to that. In Nashville they’d normally play verse/chorus/solo/verse/chorus – end. I did ten guitar solos in a row. When I came back into the control room Scotty said ‘Wow, you just played the longest rock’n’roll solo I ever heard.’
