MY THOUGHTS
I actually don't have that many strong opinions on this record. To me, it's a pretty standard look at the kind of music Avi has grown comfortable making and I can appreciate it as such, although it doesn't have the highs that he presented in "I'll Get By". Standouts for me are songs like "I Can't Lie", "When I'm a Fool" and "Into the Blue", but it honestly just comes down to my personal taste. All in all, his voice is as fantastic as always, giving us a wide variety of tones and dynamics to suit every song in this album. I wish him success and I'm excited to see what he continues making in the future.
Favorite: "Into the Blue"
Least: "First Place I Go"
