This song is from a collaboration album called Mermaid Avenue which involved Billy Bragg and Wilco working on Woody Guthrie lyrics that hadn't been finished or recorded.
Natalie Merchant sang this song on the album. Some great songs on there. I do a cover of Way Over Yonder as well ❤️
