Cantate Domino Choir of the church of Our Lady of Perpetual Succour sings Corrinne May's Catholic gift to the nation , a song entitled " Bless Our Singapore" in celebration of 50 years of nationhood for the island of Singapore.

Nicholas Liaw accompanies on the piano and leads the song vocally.

Hi friends,

For those of you in Singapore, Happy National Day! Singapore is 50 years old today.

To celebrate the occasion, I have written, not one, but two songs :)
The latest song called 'Bless Our Singapore' was written on behalf of the Catholic Church of Singapore,
as a prayer and a blessing for this, Singapore's Jubilee year.

The music video was just released a few days ago. It is a video that I had a wonderful and emotional
time filming with my daughter Claire. Thanks to the Archdiocese of Singapore and Pixelmusica and
all the others who helped to put forward this music video.

The other song 'Kite' is a song that captures the emotional tug-of-war between being with a loved one and leaving a loved one;
between being in a place that anchors you and being in a place where you can fly. I wrote 'Kite' with the incredibly gifted singer-songwriter Charlie Lim
as part of an SG50 music project titled 'Sing, Love'.
