"Blondie" is the name for an American New Wave Band with front singer "Debbie Harry" who is / was blond. The track was written by her as well as band guitarist Chris Stein. The track appeared on the bands third album "parallel lines" in 1978. The track was later released as the third single of the album in January 1979 and was voted by the Rolling Stone Magazine as one of the 500 greatest tracks of all time in 2004.
With the very charismatic lead vocalist "Debbie Harry" the band was able to switch between the several genres at the time like pop, disco, new wave, post punk without losing credibility...
