Drama Story: Song Yan and Xu Qin were best friends when they were young. However, as they grew older, their family started to view their friendship negatively. Song Yan and Xu Qin were forced apart by their families because they were unwilling to let their romance progress any further. They would never again cross paths. Song Yan and Xu Qin have each put in a lot of effort to create the lives they've always desired in the ten years after their forced separation. Song Yan has devoted his life to helping others as a fire chief. Strangely enough, Xu Qin has dedicated her life to helping others as an emergency physician. Despite pursuing very different careers, it was only a matter of time before fate brought the ex-friends back together. Song Yan and Xu Qin were reunited because of their jobs, although they aren't exactly delighted about it.
When working together, it's simple to see the progress each person has made over the years, but Xu Qin and Song Yan still have a lot of issues to resolve if they want to develop their new partnership further.
