A beautiful song by Hakuna Group Music where we hear and see a prayer from the perspective of Christ.

“Que este don, y este regalo”
“Don” and “regalo” are both words that mean gift. “Don” is more closely associated with a gift someone may naturally have, i.e. like a talent. Whereas “regalo” is more of a physical gift. While I could’ve translated it as “That they’ll use this talent and gift for evil”, I decided to simply use “gift” because it is referring to being free and having free will, rather than a talent.

“Me meto en sus entrañas”
“Entrañas” is a word that literally means “guts, bowels, insides” but in this context it is about Christ entering into our core, into our own self, which is why I chose “innermost being”.

“Papá!”
A more common translation would be “Dad” but if Christ were to cry out to God our Father in prayer, “Poppa” seems a better choice.

“Esperaré hasta el último segundo para volverlo a intentar”
“Esperar” can mean several things, usually either to hope, wait, expect or trust. In this lyric, the correct answer would be either to wait or hope, but it isn’t clear to me which is meant, so I chose “hope” because it is used in the previous line.
