This song was recorded and improvised live as part of a multi-hour connected musical journey with Peter Broderick (https://peterbroderick.net) and East Forest (http://eastforest.org). The two musicians gathered on the winter solstice of 2022 to celebrate the upcoming release of their collaborative album "Burren" (Bright Antenna Records, March '23).

Broderick and Forest both found a shared connection through musical improvisation, and they wanted to explore a deeper dive into this creative landscape. Inside East Forest's studio, they set up a series of instruments from grand and upright pianos, violin, vibraphone, marimba, percussion, guitar, and flutes to see where the sound would go.
