RACHID TAHA was born on 18 September 1958.
I was born on September 2nd, 1984...

Rachid in 1984 still with the group Carte de Séjour and with his second album Rhoromanie...
In 1984 I was shitting my pants...

In 1989 Rachid went to Paris
I was surviving in the middle of my dysfunctional family...

In 1997 Tachid was collecting his hits at the Carte Blanche...
In 1997 I was dropping out of high school thanks to bulling...

Ecoute moi camarade by Rachid Taha was released in 2006...
In 2006 when my 'friend' put a sleeping pill in my drink and I learned true friendship does not exist...

I searched and found that Rachid Taha had died in 2018....
In 2018 I was in Zipolite... rediscovering myself.

In 2021 on a set in Pacaya, I heard Ecoute moi camarade for the first time...
and I danced to it without knowing that I met you late...
I enjoyed it without knowing I was late...
Late to thank you for making me dance...
