THE RIGHT TO LIVE IN PEACE

The musicians and musicians present in this collaboration, in addition to a significant number of colleagues throughout Chile, join this initiative - together with Joan Jara and the Victor Jara Foundation - to make a version of “The Right to Live in Peace” to portray the current struggle for the dignity of the country.

In the words of Victor, "... The new Chilean song was a song that emerged from the total need of the social movement in Chile. Violeta set the road for us and that's where we continue ..."

We as artists repudiate the actions of the government by militarizing the streets, killing and torturing our people, we raise this song as a genuine attempt to generate deep and structural changes in our society.
