ELFERYA - Eden's Fall (2015)

Hah, I'm just drowning by the soothing and catchy melodies by this album hahaa.. The romantic and sexy voice of Melody Dylem really bring me to heaven hahaa.. Elferya actually very much new name to me eventhough they have been exist in the Swiss metallic scene since 2008. Well, I was rather familiar by the dominant sympho bands like Epica, Nightwish and Within Temptation. Anyway, Elferya wasnt that bad and it seems that they have managed to stand the same level as those seniors. Eden's Fall was the evidence of how Elferya managed to developed their sounds to be more enchanting and possessive. Well, some might say that this kind of Symphonic Metal too typical and most of the riffs quite similar. And even to the extent saying that this is lame and girlish music. Hah, as for me, I dont bother much and as long as the so-called "lame" music managed to sooth or bang my head then its fine hahaa.. Ok, lets talk about this 2nd album which was really catchy to my ears. We have 12 impressive trax that make those melodic and symphonic fans definitely will play this album more and more without being bored at all. Those brutal and evil metallers should stay away from this band hahaa.. It didnt have those aggression and madness except only the gentle and catchy riffs and melodies. Hmm.. full of dramatic, a bit folkish and epic touch. I think they have done a very good job on this self-released album. The songs structure and the vocals presentation are very much impressive. Each and every parts of the instruments are very much clear and it was so harmony to each other. Guitars, piano and violin works perfectly together with the keyboard. Hmm.. I've no more comment on this album. Its almost perfect in every parts except the growling vocals too minimal and it should be add more of it in the next album. Anyway, I think Elferya just unleashed an outstanding album of the year 2015. What I can say is this is most enjoyable album to listen to.
