Anne-Isabelle de Parcevaux plays Felix Mendelssohn's Wedding March (Marche nuptiale).
Recorded during a concert rehearsal on March 9, 2025, at St. Maurice Church in Appenzell.
Felix Mendelssohn's "Wedding March" in C major, written in 1842, is one of the best known of the pieces from his suite of incidental music (Op. 61) to Shakespeare's play A Midsummer Night's Dream. This piece is very often used as entrance wedding music (musique de mariage) by couples.
