I'm going to go ahead and use my original Tiger that I built back in the late seventies It was basically just a junk Charvel body I got from Charvel out of the dust bin before they were going to cut it up and throw it away Bought that for 20 bucks It had a number of different necks on it but guitar cost me 40 bucks to put together My friend Irv Veach and I painted it It's nitrocellulose It's all finished checked All this finish checking happened when we flew out of the country for the first time went to make our first record and tour in Europe The guitar was still wet and had it wrapped in a blanket with bungee cords in the hold of the plane and flew to Iceland and then flew to the Netherlands and then Germany All that freezing temperature caused all this cracking to happen which normally happens over 50 years of time but I was bummed at the time but now I mean it's absolutely beautiful you know the patina on this thing
