A short video of the Falklands War, this little-known song is about Lieutenant Colonel H. Jones of the 2nd Battalion of the Parachute Regiment, who died in combat during the Battle of Goose Green. The battle took place between the 28th and 29th of May, as the 2nd Battalion launched an attack on the well-entrenched Argentine positions near the settlements of Goose Green and Darwin.

Despite being outnumbered by the Argentine troops and facing difficult terrain, 2 PARA was victorious after a day of intense fighting, during which their commanding officer Lt. Col. H. Jones was killed while charging a trench. The morning after, the Argentine garrison there surrendered, marking one of the first major land victories for British forces during the war. Jones was posthumously awarded the Victoria Cross for his actions during the battle.
