Description
Harve Presnel (1933 – 2009) recorded several versions of the song. This early one, from his album "Echoes of The Old West"' 1965 has a different accompaniment and unlike the other later version (1969), he is ending it with an impressive high ''falsetto'' notes. Rufus Smith, in the 1951 Broadway cast recording of the musical, ends the song with a low note.
