Description
The program highlighted the importance of the arts throughout the school’s history and included performances by Junior and Upper School students who are involved in band, strings and vocal music, the dance troupe, the fine art program and the drama program. Special guest artist, renowned jazz musician and Old Girl Carol Welsman (Class of 1978), performed with recent alumna Ariel Shetzen (Class of 2013), who is currently studying jazz music performance at the University of Toronto.
The opportunity to participate in so many art forms at Havergal has a significant and lasting impact on our students as well as on the lives of those who teach and learn here. Havergal offers its sincere gratitude to students, faculty, staff, Old Girls, parents, sponsors, supporters and friends for being a part of this memorable evening to commemorate Havergal’s 120th anniversary.
