Coming from an unconventional background as a University of Tokyo graduate with an extensive national and international performance career, Sumino holds the record for the largest number of attendees at a solo piano performance at the Nippon Budokan.
He will perform Maurice Ravel’s “Boléro,” a ballet number beloved by many as a timeless masterpiece in the world of classical music.
