Czech Records, Inc. of Dodge, Nebraska, thought Hermie and His Friends would be a very appropriate title for Hermie's second album. The master of the button accordion has brought to millions of people Old Time Music in its basic originality, and with this form of artistry, Hermie has made friends all over the world.

Along with covering the United States, his talents have taken him with the Moostash Joe Polka Band to Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and Hawaii with plans to perform in Czechoslovakia, Italy, and many other European countries.

To accompany Hermie and his button accordion in the rhythm sections are the same people as the first album. Catherine Chudomelka, Dodge, Nebraska, organ; Joe Cada, Schuyler, Nebraska, bass horn; and Moostash Joe's son, Michael Spellerberg, Dodge, Nebraska, drum. Herman Franzlubber, Dodge, Nebraska, (Hermie) wishes to dedicate this second album to these three talented close friends and all his friends in the music world.
