If there's anything I consider Le chat au café's most charming point, it's the travelogue album. Better than just a photo, a song captures a memory, and since 2016, Le chat au café has used this method to return to places both near and far!

This is part five of a six-part album about a 2023 trip to Japan's northern island of Hokkaido. It's not really a vlog and not really a music video. Just some background to go along with some tunes!

Hana Lechat's birthday falls in summer, and what better way to celebrate it than by traipsing through the famous lavender fields of Hokkaido. We asked a staff person at the Nakafurano train station for directions and were recommended Nanaka's Garden, a less crowded lavender field owned by the loveliest couple. We will always remember their generosity! Of course, as the last full day of our trip, the end was spent preparing to leave, at 4am no less!
