- Capricorn Full Moon: July 3, 2023
- Sirius and Sun Conjunction in Cancer: July 3 to July 12 (the exact dates depend on where you are in the world and a few astrological factors, but this is the period to energetically pay attention to)
- Sirius Cazimi in Cancer - July 5 (Again, the time depends on where you are in the world. Knowing that Sirius is at 14° in Cancer may help you get the date for your timezone.)
- Lion’s Gate Portal (historically known as the heliacal rising of Sirius): July 26 to August 11 -give or take a few days on both ends

NOTE: According to the Old Farmer’s Almanac, July 3 starts the official Dog Days with the final day being August 11. I'm on a magical mission to continue researching these details, but so far it seems that the date that determines the Lion's Gate Portal depends on what tradition you follow and where you are on Earth.
