I decided to make this video because a few days ago I went online to find guitar tab for this song, and all the ones I found just had some really basic power chords, not the cool harmonies I was hearing in the song. And nobody could seem to figure out the 2nd half of the lick at all, so I decided to try my hand (and ear) at transcribing it. Thanks for watching! Taylor Asiong Aglipay is a multi-instrumentalist, composer, producer, musical instrument repairman, and music educator.

As a touring musician he has performed in 48 states in the USA as well as internationally in Canada, Mexico, France, Germany, Netherlands, Jamaica, and China, on stages and festivals such as Hollywood Bowl, House of Blues, Wakarusa, Jam Cruise, High Sierra, Voodoo Fest, Bumbershoot, Festival International, Telluride Blues & Brews, Floyd Fest, Bear Creek, Tour de Fat, and many more. He has been a full time member of a large number of bands, including MarchFourth Marching Band, Buckhorn Mountain Stompers, Merit Parcel, Uprite Dub Orchestra, and a whole slew more (for a full list visit www.aglipaymusic.com).

As a recording artist he has worked on more than 25 albums with bands such as Pink Martini, The Dandy Warhols, and with producers Steve Berlin from Los Lobos and Ben Ellman from Galactic. He was born in Eureka, CA on June 23, 1981. As a child, his family lived in several different places in California and Oregon, before settling in Trinity County where he attended middle school and high school and played saxophone in the school bands. At age 14 he picked up the guitar and started a band with friends and decided he wanted to pursue a life of music. During high school he attended the California State Summer School for the Arts (CSSSA) at California Institute of the Arts (CalArts) for two seperate four-week sessions, as well as a Berklee College of Music summer program. After graduating from high school he studied at Mt. Hood Community College where he received an Associate of Arts with a special emphasis on music. He then attended Renton Technical College where he graduated from the Band Instrument Repair Technology Program and began working at Tigard Music, where he worked for a few years until he set up a repair shop of his own. He now performs quality instrument repairs, overhauls, and custom modifications. He has repaired and restored thousands of musical instruments of all shapes and sizes.

In 2014 he and his wife Danyel Aglipay moved back to Trinity County and began teaching music, both privately at his home studio, and at Junction City Elementary School and Weaverville Elementary School.
