Here's our version of Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex OP - Inner Universe (『攻殻機動隊 STAND ALONE COMPLEX』) by Yoko Kanno and Origa (ft. Ben Del Maestro). Please please go check out all of @PernelleMusic's work if you haven't already. She really inspires me to be a better artist and this would not have come out anywhere near the same without her.

I watched this show in middle school and I can still vividly remember hearing this opening for the first time and being so blown away. I had never heard anything like it. I downloaded as much music by both Yoko Kanno and Origa as I could find and consumed it all throughout high school. I even studied Russian in university, partially inspired by my love for Origa's interpretations of Russian folk songs. Hers and Yoko Kanno's music influenced my life's trajectory in profound ways. Origa passed away in 2015 at the age of 44. We'd like to dedicate this cover to her.
