Description
This is the burial chamber of the tomb of Ramses V and VI with sarcophagi, located in the Valley of the Kings near Luxor, on the west bank of the Nile.
Originally constructed for Ramses V, the tomb was later expanded by his uncle, Ramses VI, making it the final resting place for both pharaohs. Stretching approximately 380 feet (117 meters) in length, it is one of the largest tombs in the Valley of the Kings.
The walls and ceilings of the tomb are richly decorated with intricate hieroglyphs and paintings, depicting scenes from various ancient Egyptian funerary texts.
