“I am such a huge fan of vintage dresses, and this is a cute little 60s piece that I picked up in Montreal. And I think that people should shop vintage. So that's my message.”
(Reporter: “And why should people shop vintage?”)
“Because the clothing is made better. It keeps things out of the landfill and it's usually really cute stuff.”

“I'm not a fan of like the fast fashion industry for multiple reasons…”
(Reporter: “Such as?”)
“Like, you know, human rights violations and like it's incredibly toxic to the environment, like all of the waste that goes into landfills and then ends up in countries that have to deal with it that don't have the means to deal with it. And it's just – it's horrific. It's awful. And all just so that somebody can wear a top for two days before it falls apart in the wash? I don't know. I've always been a thrift shopper. My mom would take me to thrift shops when I was a kid – a lot of my clothes were from thrift shops when I was a kid growing up. And I love that because you can find stuff that typically nobody else has.”
