Jon performed this song in celebration of the Special Olympics on December 19th, 2000 just like he had done with other classics two years prior.
Taken from an old TV recording that was around in the mid-2000s, unfortunately in rather low quality. I got a copy of it over 15 years ago when I just discovered how to work on videos and when I was naive enough to think that the sharpening functions could improve anything. Well, we all learn as times progresses I guess. I reworked the colours (taking a bit of a chance on the balance actually) and other little details like levels etc. with a VirtualDub filter cascade, trying to smooth out the pixilation I once had caused myself. The audio was completely remastered as well.
And before some people love being smart again: I know that Elvis was neither the writer nor the first singer of this song, but his version probably was the most famous one and Jon clearly was drawing inspiration from that.
