Description

This feature print shows a old sailing junk heading west across Hung Hom bay and the Tsim Sha Tsui (TST) peninsula. The majority of TST was used for manufacturing military arms and was home to many large war department, rifle ranges and naval yards. Hong Hom bay was also home to the Hong Kong Kowloon & Whampoa Dock Company who were just starting business in 1903.
