The Lettermen continued their dip into the great American R&B songbook and came up with this gem, originally recorded by the song’s writer, Barbara Mason in 1965. Barbara’s version made it to #5 on the Hot-100. The title was also revived by KC and Teri DeSario whose duet reached #2 in early 1980.
The Lettermen’s “Feelings” album featured arrangements by Perry Botkin Jr., Al De Lory and Mort Garson, resulting in another set of classy interpretations of 60s’ pop and R&B tunes. The album reached #192 in the summer of 1971.
