I think Mr. Walker by Wes Montgomery is one of the finest Hard Bop tunes out there. It's an easy to memorize song form and also not too hard to play. Of course you'll have to practive the Montgomery octaves, in order to master this Mr Walker guitar lesson ;-). But worry not, I'll show you the Wes Montgomery Mr Walker transcription note for note and there is also a slow tempo version at the end of this tutorial.

I'll show you how to master the octaves and great sounding Mr Walker guitar chords, give you tips to play this song smoothly.
