When inside the womb, puppies get used to the relaxing sound of their mothers’ heartbeat and the gentle flow of bubbling water. You can now replicate this outside of the womb to help your pup sleep more comfortably.

You may know this old trick: putting a ticking clock in the dog's basket helps many young puppies sleep well. The steady, calm sound of the clock reminds dogs of the time in the womb and calms them in this way. This video takes advantage of that experience, only it uses a realistic sound. Use a bluetooth box, as it has a bassier sound than your smartphone or iPad, and can better reproduce the low frequencies of the heartbeat. Do not make the sound too loud, it should just provide a pleasant background noise for the dog.
