These are rescue sea turtles.

This person is helping protect a vulnerable batch of sea turtle eggs by keeping them safe until they hatch. In many places, eggs left unprotected on the beach can be destroyed by predators, washed away by tides, or disturbed by humans. By carefully relocating or guarding them, they ensure the baby turtles can safely make their way to the ocean when the time comes.
