De eso justamente se trataba, de recordar y volver a vivir las melodías de unos valses que se resisten a morir y que quedaron congelados en el tiempo, esperando el rescate de unos cuantos que, al igual que nosotros, no creemos en defunciones prematuras, por el contrario y al ejemplo nos remitimos: vivir recordando es recordar lo vivido.
Después de los solares y fincas limeñas, llegaron los callejones y las quintas, todas ellas llanas y sencillas, sin mayores ambiciones que las de albergar a sus habitantes y con ello, preservar las buenas costumbres de un vecindario que rindió el culto debido a la música popular, a través de unos valses que con añoranza, hoy volvemos a escuchar.
El “toque” de este homenaje a los valses de antaño en callejones de un solo caño, es el sentido tributo que rendimos a las “comadres” del vecindario: Anita, Olga, Hilda, Rebeca, Raquel, Eva, Matilde, son apenas testigos silenciosos que inspiraron a Pablo Casas, Rómulo Varillas, Alberto Haro, Luis Abelardo Núñez, Felipe Pinglo, Alejandro Ayarza y al prolífico Augusto Polo Campos, a componer estas odas de un criollismo que también sucumbió, al encanto de la mujer limeña.

That was precisely about, to remember and relive some waltz melodies that refuse to die and were frozen in time, waiting for the rescue of a few who, like us, do not believe in premature deaths, on the contrary and we refer to an example: to live remembering is to recall the experience.
Alleys and villas appeared after the homes and farms of Lima, all plain and simple, with no ambitions only to shelter their inhabitants and thereby preserve good customs of a neighborhood that rendered the cult because of the popular music, through some waltzes that with nostalgia, we listen again.
The "touch" of this tribute to the old waltzes in a single faucet alleys, is the tribute we render to the good looking women of the neighborhood: Anita, Olga, Hilda, Rebeca, Raquel, Eva, Matilda. They are only silence witnesses that inspired Pablo Casas, Romulo Varillas, Alberto Haro, Luis Abelardo Nuñez, Felipe Pinglo, Alejandro Ayarza and prolific Augusto Polo Campos, to compose these odes from a criollismo that also succumbed to the charms of the women in Lima.
