I assumed for years that this had been released originally under #HankWilliams, never dreaming it was a #LuketheDrifter number. I mean it was on various greatest hits compilations without ever being credited as a Luke song and even Bocephus did it for the soundtrack to "Your Cheatin' Heart." For those who don't know, the "Luke" character was used for his philosophical songs so that jukebox operators didn't go out and buy oodles and oodles of these numbers and then get gun shy. I still think this and "No, No, Joe" would have been fine under the Hank moniker, but I'm no expert, I just play one on YouTube!
