As many of you may know, the music world lost an absolute legend shortly before the date of when I uploaded this video.... from his beginnings as a jazz conductor and arranger, to producing a string of hit singles for the likes of Lesley Gore, as well as several immensely successful albums and singles for Michael Jackson, to arranging and conducting numerous successful film and television scores, Quincy Jones was a man of countless musical talents - may he rest in heavenly peace.

Anyway, one of his most iconic works was the featured theme to the iconic 1970s NBC sitcom "Sanford And Son", which despite being released as a single, did not chart whatsoever (at least to my knowledge), but has since become one of the most recognizable and most iconic TV theme songs of all time, ranking as the ninth in a Rolling Stone reader poll of television theme songs.
