The Bay City Rollers have announced the release of their brand-new single, Rollers Forever – an anthemic, feel-good celebration of the fans who made them a global sensation.

Written by long-time Roller Stuart “Woody” Wood and hit songwriter John McLaughlin, Rollers Forever is a guitar-driven, chant-filled rocker that puts the fans centre stage. With the crowd singing loud and proud — “We want the Rollers! Rollers Forever!” — the track captures the spirit of a band and its audience united across generations.

“This song is all about the fans,” says Woody. “It’s their voices you hear leading the chant — and it’s their energy that’s kept the Rollers going for over 50 years. This one’s for them.”

The single was written especially for Rollers Forever, the upcoming new musical celebrating the legacy of the Bay City Rollers, which opens at the Pavilion Theatre in Glasgow from 19–30 August 2025. The musical tells the story of two lifelong fans who reconnect on a Saturday night and relive their teenage years in the tartan-clad pop explosion of the 1970s — soundtracked, of course, by the biggest hits from the band that defined an era.
