Thank you Aoife for requesting this belter! I might have eventually got around to covering some Roy Orbison but definitely not this track, it just wouldn't have come to mind to be honest, so again thank you!
Amongst his many other incredible talents, nobody bounced up and down through the octaves like Roy Orbison did. One minute the guy could be singing way down in his boots, next minute an angelic high pitched serenade. Obviously that means I straight away had to drop the key! That aside though, I didn't feel a need to alter this too much from the original. It's a wonderful song and a joy to cover, why mess with that?
