This week’s cover song – ‘Forget About’ by Sibylle Baier, as requested. Thank you for this brilliant request. I know my last cover was a Sibylle Baier song but I don’t care because she’s great so there. This song is featured on the only album she has ever released – ‘Colour Green’ which is a demo album recorded in the 70s and released by the son in 2006. Considering she has only released about 15 songs (and they’re mostly demos), it’s pretty impressive that she is as popular as she is. Of course, her music is not for everyone but I think a lot of people are drawn to her enigmatic lyrics and strange melodies. Plus, she is a total mystery and has barely been seen or heard since the 70s which adds to the appeal. Although, I did find out that she recorded some new stuff in 2008 for a film called ‘Palermo Shooting’ by Wim Wenders. Anyway, I hope you enjoy my cover 😊
Also, I want to apologise for the twangy sound of my low e string, I couldn’t fix it. I really need to chance my strings haha XD
