Sinawi is a traditional Korean instrumental ensemble rooted in shamanistic music. Each instrument plays its own melodic line improvisationally, yet together they create a striking sense of harmony. The piece typically moves from slow to fast rhythmic patterns, building layered tension and energy. Featuring sorrowful southern melodies and the vibrant beauty of spontaneous expression, Sinawi showcases the depth and resilience of Korean traditional music.
