Description
The Song of the Birds is a Catalan song which was famously played by the great Spanish virtuoso cellist Pablo Casals, at the United Nations Congress when he was in his nineties.
In this beautiful arrangement by Craig Utting, the solo cello part is played by Benjamin Sneyd-Utting, the soprano soloist is Kitty Sneyd-Utting, and the tenor is LJ Crichton. The Virtuoso Strings Orchestra is conducted by Andrew Atkins at The Beehive, Saturday 19th June 2021.
