Caminito Street flagship site that gives name to tango, is located in the neighborhood of La Boca, is a place visited by tourists.
It preserves the old "conventillos"or "tenement", which houses many rooms were occupied by different families.
The first to build and inhabit them were Italian immigrants especially the Genoese, who painted their houses with paint from ships provided by sailors. So the tenements still wore colorful and keeping that tradition is still, dominated strong colors.

Caminito sitio insigne de la calle que da nombre al tango, se encuentra en el barrio de La Boca, es un lugar muy visitado por los turistas.
Conserva aún los antiguos "conventillos" " casas de muchas habitaciones que eran ocupadas por diferentes familias.
Los primeros en construirlos y habitarlos fueron los inmigrantes italianos, especialmente los genoveses, quienes pintaron sus casas con la pintura sobrante de los barcos proporcionados por los marineros. Así que las viviendas aún conservan el colorido y se mantiene la tradición por el predominio de los colores fuertes .
