“The Beautiful Strangers” was originally written and performed by Rod McKuen on his album of the same name released in 1967. This cover version by Frank Sinatra, appeared on his album “A Man Alone” copyright Reprise Records 1969. It was also covered by Glenn Yarbrough, Aaron Freeman and John SoFranko. An instrumental version also appeared on a Stanyan Strings release in 1970.
