The song "Let It End" by Karliene reminded me of the Burning Legion's invasion of Azeroth in Legion. The video is about the ill-fated Battle for the Broken Shore where the forces of Azeroth went to face the Legion and lost. The Alliance lost its king, Varian Wrynn. The Horde lost its Warchief, Vol'jin. The Argent Crusade lost its Highlord, Tirion Fordrinig, and was shattered. Countless lives were lost. The death of the Alliance and Horde leaders damaged any chance of unity between the two rival factions in a time when unity was needed most.
