Description
The Mariners date from 1942, at Manhattan Beach, New York. As the Coast Guard Quartet, they were attached to the Third Naval District in New York, and entertained throughout that area. The ensemble they formed produced pleasing harmonies, both to audience ears and to those of the singers as well.
