It is sung by The Wellingtons, who began as a folk music group, and then became the regular backup on singers, with The Blossoms, on Shindig. They were best known, however, for singing the theme song of Gilligan's Island. They are George Patterson (the founder), Kirby Johnson, and Ed Wade.
