Trelawnyd is a charming, peaceful farming village located in Flintshire, North East Wales. The renowned Trelawnyd Choir, established in 1933 by the village schoolmaster William Humphreys, has been a prominent part of the community’s heritage ever since. With a remarkable history, the choir has won first prize at the Royal National Eisteddfod of Wales six times and has also triumphed at the Eire International Festival in Cork. Their performances have graced television screens, the prestigious Royal Albert Hall, and they’ve toured across Europe, Canada, and the USA.

This video, recorded on February 3rd, 2008, has been painstakingly re-edited from the original upload, which had unfortunately become corrupted. Unlike the previous version, which featured cutaways to the surrounding countryside, this re-edit showcases the choir in its entirety, ensuring that relatives and loved ones can now view their performances in full glory.
