💬 About this performance:
Our 12 July 2025 summer concert closed with a tribute to our dear friend and long-time choir member Barbara Heron. This piece reflects Barbara’s journey with us — from uncertainty about singing to finding her voice and confidence — and draws on her own words. Her courage and growth, including speaking to a crowd at the 2019 Leeds Choir Festival, continue to inspire our choir family and honour those we’ve lost while keeping their spirit with us.
