Description
This is a tune that was knocking about for awhile, first originating backstage at a Broadway show. It’s a fun and playful melody. While watching the 2021 US presidential inauguration, there was talk of the First Lady (president’s wife) and Second Lady (the VP’s wife). Of course, with US VP Kamala Harris being a straight female, that makes her husband the Second Gentleman, and he is the first Second Gentleman. Titles are a humorous font, and this one made us giggle. We paired the tune with Farewell To Whalley Ridge, an incredible Slip-Jig written by the inimitable Mike McGoldrick. - Martin Howley
