After Arctic Records folded in 1969, it's biggest star, Barbara Mason, was left looking for a label. Surprisingly she didn't hook up with the emerging Gamble and Huff operation but chose to sign with the New York based, National General, label in 1970. She recorded several sides on National General including this exquisite B-side she wrote in 1970 titled, Yes, It's You. In 1972, Mason signed with Buddah Records and her career enjoyed a rebirth recording for that label during the rest of the 1970's.
